I think I returned my water bottle with the cage.
So, awhile ago I had bought a habitrail cristal to use when cleaning the cages but then I decided I didn't need it and returned it. Before that I was testing out the ovo habitrail water bottle to see how it connects and such and I think I stored it inside the cage then put the cage back into box then returned it all together. My fault indeed but what makes me mad is that the girl at the pet store opened the box to have a look inside to make sure everything was there and didn't bother telling me that I had thrown my water bottle in there? She even gave me a hard time about returning it. I had only bought it a week before. Now that I need it I don't have a small water bottle and I have to go out and buy another?! I'm sorry it's just a rant about my stupidity and someone else's insincerity but it's irritating.
I need a water bottle now because Caramel is pushing all her bedding into her water bowl. Silly hamster, that's not how it works but I guess you got me to notice how you don't like it.
I really like how the ovo habitrail bottle looks does anyone know if it leaks or if hamsters can drink from it easily? (I didn't even test mine yet) I can take it out of the tube and hang it so the hamsters being too big to fit won't matter.

Well, if this isn't the time for a humungous "D'oh" and a forehead slap, I don't know what is.
If your talking about the habitrial bottle that is spherical in shape, that is to say, this one:
....then I can tell you that it leaks just the tiniest bit. The water tends to sit, or puddle, in the tube bellow and will discolor from various debris. A simple and regular removal and cleaning every few days will remedy this, though.

I have 2 of them and one leaks a little, the other not at all ! I like them too, but are a pain to refill !! Besides, I always put 2 bottles, different types as well to make sur they get to drink and get to choose what they prefer(and for safety in case one doesn't work). But generally, I like them!!
Will you be getting it back ?

Lol I might as well slap a big "dunce" sign on there while I'm at it haha.
Yup that's the one I'm talking about. Do they have to be perfectly upright? Not slanted in any way?

I thought you could just pop it off and take it apart to refill?
I might just buy another.Since I returned that one back in September This one of the prettiest water bottles I've seen around so I can't really resist even though it would seem I'm down on luck with them hahaha
