Re: Hamster at my Door.
Going with the toilet roll idea, you could maybe put a few little treats inside and let her find them - it'll help her to wear her teeth down and give her something fun to do. You might need to cut a small hole in the top to give her the idea ... I've just done one for Belle, and it was demolished within minutes!!

Re: Hamster at my Door.
I'll do that for sure in a bit, I just want to give her a bit of space for a while, she's still trembling

Re: Hamster at my Door.
ild say try and keep the heat going for her, maybe a jar of babyfood you can warm a little (not 'hot' just warm) or some porridge to help her warm back up?

Re: Hamster at my Door.
poor little baby, .but no need to worry now that she found a home and someone who would take good care of her, everyone here in HC seems to love their hamsters, unlike the other pet owner who doesn't know how to take care of their pets and when they get tired of taking care of them, they will just give it away, .anyways, she's so adorable!

Re: Hamster at my Door.
Awwww the poor little thing. I'm so glad you are the one who found her and will make sure she is well taken care of. Roxy had a similar beginning. She was left with her siblings in a box behind a local pet store on a cold night. It's awful that people do this.

Re: Hamster at my Door.
Wow. Unbelievable. And weird but a blessing it was your name taped on that box. You are going to have a lot of questions in your head for a long time on this. She is beautiful. My first thought too was of PinkNeon's Belle! I was like WHAT ...that couldn't be Belle!! She'd never!!!!!
Lovely girl. I couldn't part with her - I'm too weak willed. I wear my heart on my sleeve for animals. *sigh*
