Try having a look over on Guinea Lynx :: A Medical and Care Guide for Your Guinea Pig for loads of info about guinea pig bonding, scrapping, dominance hierarchy etc. A lot of the arguing is quite normal but if blood is drawn, you may need to do something about it.

If you are keeping female guineas & male guineas even if they are in different rooms from each other, the males will smell the females on you & may behave more aggressively towards each other.

Thanks! they seem to be improving now and they don't seem to fussed about the females, they are just agressive when we mixed there toys with the girls so we stopped sharing them

Glad things are improving, definitely good idea not to share their toys between males & females, guineas have the most amazing sense of smell & even if you clean the toys, chances are they will still smell the females & react to it.

By the way Willowthehamster, our guinea is called Willow too!

the males could smell the females go into heat.. I used to breed guinea pigs and my males would always act a wee bit funny and aggressive with each other when my girls were in heat, Just a thought.. good luck
