I didn't realise they weren't available in P@H I've seen them the last two ones I've been in to. They are so fluffy

Re: Chinchilla's in P@H
The ones all around us sell Chins in cages the size of ZZ1s We also have one not too far away that sells Chipmunks! I'm sure the white Chins are supposed to be hard to get or something... hmm...
I once saw a woman buy a lone one in a P@H aaaaages ago and she got it a tiny box cage too. I really hate the fact that pet shops get away with selling such exotic pets like chins and chipmunks, pets like that shouldnt be put available for impulse buying, they just require too much special care
But yes they are cute and fluffy and adorable!!! ^_^

Re: Chinchilla's in P@H
I love chins, but people don't understand that they have really expensive vet bills cos they are exotic and can live up to 20 years!! They also need a very controlled diet and shouldn't be allowed much sugar at all, their digestive systems literally cannot handle it. And they need HUGE cages to be happy and are ideally kept in pairs :<

Re: Chinchilla's in P@H
I don't think I've been in a P@H WITHOUT chins :/ I agree that they require far too much specialist care to be available on a whim in a pet shop. I remember begging my mum for one as a kid whenever we visted, thank goodness she always said no!

Re: Chinchilla's in P@H
I'm in the midlands and I've never seen them in any pet shop near me, especially not in pets at home. I've never actually seen one in real life I don't think!

I love him!

Re: Chinchilla's in P@H
I've seen one in the Wolverhampton P@H before I think.
They don't always have them in though
