Re: Yodel Rant!!
kyrilliondaemon: wow, that sounds dreadful! Online shopping is generally great and convenient but when it does badly it is so frustrating.
SlaveToDaisy: shocking . I mean, throwing your stuff anyway is bad but thinking that there might be a live animal in there and still treating it like that is dreadful!

Re: Yodel Rant!!
Yeah... And now we're seriously considering another zooplus order, including another cage. Good thing its not too urgent really... Must admit I'll be nervous placing it if we do.

Re: Yodel Rant!!
I had a problem like that with a cage from ebay someone sent through the post second hand.
It was parcelforce too!
It was ridiculous, they apparently tried to deliver it but there was no card so I had NO clue that it had been delievered. The tracking number didn't work through ebay until a month later which was when I discovered my package had been delivered. I
went to the post office depot to get it and took it home. It was wrapped in two layers of bubble wrap and the bottome was completely cracked and unusuable so I told the seller who tried to blame me for it, saying it was my fault for picking it up late, to that my reply was 'Me recieving it late has nothing to do with it being broken' and they said I should have refused the parcel and I said 'I'm not going to unwrap it and walk with lots of lose bits and pieces through town.
It took me nearly 2 months to get my money back, I had to make a case through Ebay!! They were trying to blame everything on me or the company which I wasn't having any of because there is no way it could have been my fault and the postal company can't do anything if the package is crappy protected!!
Seriously! 2 layers of THIN bubble wrap!
They then tried to get me to send it back to them which they knew would cost me at least £10! I said I would send it back but they would have to pay for the postage for me to send it back plus my full refund. They stopped replying after that and I won the case!!

Re: Yodel Rant!!
I want to say 'good to know it's not just me that has had problems' but obviously it's not 'good to know!' Sorry to hear about all your difficulties.
kyrilliondaemon I am also wary of ordering through ZooPlus again which is a shame as they seem to have a good selection of stuff.

Re: Yodel Rant!!
I've had no problems with zooplus when ordering smaller things like toys and treats. I've had pretty swift delivery the past 3 times I have ordered.
I think problems arise when larger things are ordered like cages and they change the way its delivered I think x

Re: Yodel Rant!!
When I order my cat food from Zooplus I pay a supplement to have it delivered by Parcelforce rather than Yodel after several bad experiences. It might be possible to do the same with cages.
SlaveToDaisy - I assumed when you said that you meant he was joking!!!!!

Re: Yodel Rant!!
Thankfully i haven't come across yodel, i didn't even know it existed! I've stopped ordering online because of 3 awful, awful deliveries with parcelforce. The first one included 12'' wheels which i was desperate for, literally needed them asap, but they didn't come for about 3 weeks, the second was a giant toy order (don't remember off which site but when i saw the parcelforce van pull up i was furious as it was them again!) and that didn't come for about 2 and a half weeks, after a note saying we 'weren't in'. Grr i decided not to go out with friends so i could wait for the delivery! Cheeky little.. agh! And the third was another awful one.
Now i just buy stuff from local shops, i am absolutely fed up with these companies. I hope yours arrives soon though!!
