Has anyone from the US ordered from ECF?

I was wondering if the free shipping for orders over £29 still applies. I realize it probably isn't since it's outside of the UK, but I was wondering if someone could tell me how much it cost them. I would also like to hear about the conditions of your items upon arrival. I am considering buying a proper cage from them online

I was really excited to see that they shipped to the US at all! I have found that many online companies in the UK ship to other countries in Europe, but not "across the pond."

I have purchased from them a few times. But sadly that shipping deal doesn't apply to us and it can be quite pricey to ship things here. Exactly how much depends on what your order. They package items VERY well though and have never had anything arrive damaged. They're wrapped within a wrap within a wrap within a wrap with bubble packing and "fragile" tape all over the outside. They're very careful! I definitely recommend.

However, I will warn that if you're thinking of ordering a full size cage, they may not be able to ship it to you at all. A while back I finally decided I was going to splurge for Cheeto and order a Hamster Heaven from them. A day or so later they contacted me, apologizing profusely, that they would not be able to ship the item to me due to international size limits. So you may want to contact them and ask them first before you place the order.

I ultimately ended up ordering a Marchioro cage that was available here in the states.

I was looking into the Simba Rif Multy because it seemed like a really good deal for the size. I hadn't thought of shipping size restrictions!

Yeah, you might have an issue there. I would assume if they couldn't do the HH, they might not be able to do this either... Unless there's also a significant difference in weight or something. You never know!

Just an FYI- A few people on here have reviewed that cage and not been thrilled with it.

I ordered from ECF, but only small stuff...shipping for a cage is an extra 100 pounds and thats a load of money!
You'd have a better chance on Ebay, but like gutterglitter said people aren't very stoked about the Simba rif

Why can't the US just have good cages and faster supplies!?

You want a full plastic cage or a wired cage? if you don't mind wired there is a good cage in the US called the Marchioro Kevin 82. It's the cage I was going for before I discovered a ZZ2 at a local pet store
