The Hunger Games is probably one of my favorite books I've ever read. However, I was very disappointed by the other two books of the trilogy I'm a big fan of happy endings

Re: Inkheart :3
Charlaine Harris is one of my favourite authors and her Sookie Stackhouse series is my favourite series of books. After I had read them all I ordered the first season of Trueblood on DVD expecting to love it, watched the first episode and switched it off halfway through!!

yeeeeeeees!! although I also love when it's magic realism - magic in a world I already know. Neil Gaiman does a wonderful job of it; American Gods features many rl places in the US, and Neverwhere is set in 'London Below' and links back to tube stations (there is, in fact, an angel called Islington, and an earl presiding over some minions in Earl's Court).
