how many hamsters?

Just curious how many hammies everyone has? And whats the most youve had at any given point of time? i currently have 6(i just rescued a momma and her two babies. Babies i will be finding a lovley home for though)

9 of my own, 2 temps so 11 in my care, and my sister has a hamster i dont have much to do with but the ocasional handle and health check *and the odd toy my guys dont use*

2, but that's my "hamster limit" set by my parents. I'd have more if it wasn't for that limit, so maybe when I move out I'll have some more.

Awesome i may have more then 6 in the next few weeks. Momna was over bred at her previous owners. They kept her in with dad and was constantley having babies.. the 2 babies i got with her are weaned now and she feels a little pudgy. She was in with dad until yesterday so its a waiting game to see if shes pregnant again or not :/

Nine. We meant to stick at eight but then Fwirl needed a home... And she was a foster but I realised I fail at fostering so she quickly became permanent. Now we cannot go above this though, it'd be too much.
We've gone from 1-9 in the space of a year so this is by far the most we've had at once lol

Have been asked to petsit indefinetly but we can't do that either, it'll just be too much. We can do it short term, but indefinetly can't be done. That'd be like having another hamster and we really, really can't do that.

Yeah its hard to want to rehome them(for me anywho lol) but ill have to find homea for the little ones espically if momma is pregnant! I couldnt refuse tgem given mommas been way over bred and is over due for a retirement! Ill for sure be keeping her though.

We realised that if we had the space... Plus we were likely to be so fussy on homes that I can count those I'd have actually agreed to rehome her with on one hand. None of those are/were looking for a red eyed cinnamon banded (with or without a satin coat) and wouldn't be for a good while. Made sense to conclude we were keeping her and start spoiling her as much as we do Scamp lol

I have 4 That is my limit. Along with 3 gerbils, I feel if I homed any more I wouldn't be able to equally split my time between all of them.

I had many people offer for j+m, jane has got a wonderful home now, I am sure she will be introduced when her lovely new mummy gets a chance to post but i know her mum has me the other end of the phone for any worrys, micheal is here still, but is going to a good member too, when they are able to collect him soon, then i go to 9/10, dipending if lil ww here is with her new mummy too.

i admit its fun being a hammy train I think i would happily do this for people who would be happy traveling to london for a ham, if they cant go to shows themselves, if they tell me what they are looking for

I was ment to have 2.. became 3.. became 4, 3, 4, 5, 6... and now i have my lot
