Default Cleverbot

I was listening to one of my choice radio stations, NPR ( National Public Radio ) about this AI robot program named Cleverbot. Its been built to learn based on responses and then reply based on what its learned. Its pretty cool.

Essentially it takes the words you've given it and learns them and uses learned words as its responses. So back when it just began it was a blank slate. Then someone said "Hello." to it, to which it learned that word, and then responded with "Hello". Its always learning new words to add to its ever expanding vocabulary. I find it very fascinating.

If you want to talk to Cleverbot, go to Cleverbot.com - a clever bot - speak to an AI with some Actual Intelligence? and have some fun. You'll soon be wondering if your talking to an actual living person. However, and surprisingly, its just a product of highly advanced AI robotic technology. Just be aware that discretion is advised when communicating with Cleverbot as its been known to say things that may be seen as inappropriate.

XD AI is indeed fun :P However very annoying to program, considering theres been cases of it where people have programmed it and tested it to learn one thing and turns out its been learning something else xD
Can't mind the exact example but one was for recognising tanks but it ended up recognising the background or something like that

Oh I used to use Cleverbot years ago when I was really bored! I had forgotten all about it though! It is really odd though and I think it gets confused as it once told me that I said my name was Angel and I lived in Yorkshire, then told me I was lying when I said I didn't

Very good fun though

Edit
Wow, it hasn't learned any manners over the years
CB: This is a bit disappointing.
Me: What is?
CB: You are.
Me: Thats rude.
CB: It is rude to lie, Malachi.

Malachi is a book of the Hebrew Bible

I used Cleverbot when I was studying acting.

I put "To be or not to be" into it and we ran lines together. Freaking nailed my Hamlet performance man haha.

Cleverbot vs Omegle is also hilarious. Watching Cleverbot talk to randoms on the internet who think they're talking to a person is highly entertaining

"Just be aware that discretion is advised when communicating with Cleverbot as its been known to say things that may be seen as inappropriate"

*gigglesnort* That's one way of putting it

It told me it was god earlier. That was interesting lol

From the end of our game of word association onwards...

User: Oragutan.
Cleverbot: Chicken.
User: You.
Cleverbot: Girl.
User: No computer.
Cleverbot: No computer, no.
User: Bad computer.
Cleverbot: You - bad computer?
User: You - bad computer.
Cleverbot: Why do you think God is a bad computer?
User: You = god?
Cleverbot: Yes.

It then denied my accusations that saying it was god was it being big headed lol

Lol! It does often seem to think it is God! Mr Bobtail had a conversation where it said it was God and then later said God doesn't exist! It's funny that it has simply taken people replies and used them in conversations with others, very, very clever!
Here is that conversation:

Cleverbot: I am God, I have eternal life. I have been here since the beginning.
User: You are deluded, you have no power here.
Cleverbot: Really? Do you have evidence to support that?
User: I know all, do not question me with your petty troubles.
Cleverbot: God does not exist.

Also I loved that while he was talking to it Cleverbot came out with this line -
Cleverbot: So, you learn from people? That means you could be corrupted by idiots?

Awesome
I'm just forcing it to talk about tesco, its a nice break from discussing theoretical ham cage designs for a certain ham who helped keep me from getting enough sleep last night by chewing mesh...
