We got 2 pet rats this sunday and this is the baby girl not named yet. She is a really sweet 6 week old dumbo eared rat .She lives with a 6 month old girl called Buffy but no pics of her yet.

Aw, she is lovely, she looks the same colour as a sable hamster. Obviously all the rat photos are having an effect on me, I knew she was a 'dumbo' rat straight away. A few months ago I didn't even know dumbo rats existed!

lol, me too Gill. I have learned so much about other rodents from HC members - one of my favourites was the zebra and multimammate mice from Pouchy, but I am really beginning to like rats too.

There were lots of rats at the show on Saturday and some where Heeuuuuge! Lots of lovely colours too.

I am still a look but dont touch on the rats though. It is a tail thing for me I'm afraid. No name is very pretty though and a lovely chocolate or sabley colour!

Aww what an adorable little rat she is. Big innocent eyes. Yes we have learnt a lot about other animals which can olnly be a good thing. Thanks for sharing
