Well, our furry house guests, Poppy and Lilly, arrived last night. The kids love them and are playing with them right now. Me? Not loving the volume of poo they produce! I removed a load last night and there was masses when I got in from work this evening. Cleared it again and 2.5 hours later they have replenished. I take back everything I said about Bear being a machine gunner. I guess it'll be good for the compost heap though.

Uh-oh, the kids seem to have bonded with our furry house guests. Is squeaking a good or bad sign?

squeeking aka pop-corning generally means that the piggies are happy

I have a feeling that your Children might start pestering you for their own Guinea Pigs .

squeeking is good screeching or tons of grumbling can be bad. they are noisy when they r happy and upset but its not too hard to tell the difference and they really are quite easy to make happy. mine spent the day yesterday chasing eachother around popcorning and being silly. super funny little guys.

Fortunately I definitely don't have space for a cage big enough for two guinea pigs.
