Im 14, and Ive been wearing what you call 'full on makeup' since year 7/8
But, i know how to put it on correctly, I don't look trashy at all, my older sisters are amazing at make up and thats where ive learnt it from.
I do wear a lot on paper, but if you actually see it on me, people say they can barely tell im wearing much.
And on the subject of that program 'Jig' I was one of those kids up until about 3 years ago! I done irish dancing from aged 4 til, 12. You do need to wear a lot of makeup, because, as much as i hate to say this, it is so not just judged on dancing which is awful, it is based on appearance too, and it costs so much ^_^
but anyway, if you wear makeup correctly, its fine 13+ imo, my school have never had a problem with my make up, and i wear:
Concealer, foundation bronzer.
gel liner on top lip, and mascara, and fill my brows in, and then when i go out for special occasions i put some brown eyeshadow in the crease of my eye
I feel a lot more confident in myself, and like I said, I know how to put it on properly
I really enjoy doing my makeup in the morning :')
I'm quite obsessed about my appearance tbh, I wish i weren't, but i guess thats just how I am now!
But i can assure you all, I'm not orange, not trashy and I dont look 20 years old :')
I have this thing about the perfect eyebrows lol, I take great pride in my eyebrows and nails for that matter!
