Lol, Alfie has his own song that I sing to him when I see him waking up in his cage, he comes to the bars to say hello and then climbs into a toilet roll tube so I can pick him up out of the cage for playtime......it's nice to know he's not the only hamster with his own song (or with a completely batty owner, maybe!)
Hope holiday is fun.....I am insanely jealous (still stuck in examtide!)

I can't say I am familiar with this book - what genre is it?

Redwall
My goodness I never even knew this existed looks quite neat - I am going to see if I can get any of his books from the library
I like children's books for some light reading from time to time
I adore the written word and can go through a novel in a few hours happily

My oldest daughter started reading the series, and it continues with the younger one - we have all the books, about 20 now I believe, and more are still coming
They both enjoyed the series thoroughly though.

British
Strange he is British because his work is not very well known over here - Harry Potter seems to have taken over the world
