Well, both my fiance and I are now unemployed

I have been out of work since February because of the terrible economy and I have been living at home with my parents since I graduated college. My fiance is working for the Minnesota State Patrol in another city so we are moving in together down there. We move Saturday. Today we found out that the Minnesota government is going to shut down since they can't reach a budget agreement so he will also be out of work until that is resolved. This is so frustrating since we are spending lots of money to move (which we are required to do for his job) and now he's laid off. He's going to file for unemployment until he's back at work, but I'm still nervous about how everything will work out. The shutdown can last anywhere between a day and months so we have no end in sight.

Oh no, I'm so sorry

My dad has been out of work for a while because all the government offices closed down when the priminister/s changed. Luckily he has managed to find another.

I know how you feel Babes, My hubby has been out of work for nearly a year now, we are just about managing on my wage but the mortage protection insurance runs out in august so I just hope we either win the lottery or he gets a job pronto. Hang in there babes it will come right in the end x x x

Its horrible when things like this happen. My OH and i recently went through 6 months of him being sort of suspended and not knowing if he was going to keep his job... Its horrible going from day to day not knowing what will happen and how you'll cope

Sending you all my love... dont worry though, things will turn out right, you'll see. My favourite word and thing I believe in most of all is 'fate' and that everything happens for a reason. Just keep your chin up and you'll both be fine
