Booked a College Taster Day for the beginning of july at Plumpton College for the Animal Care Course.

Sound's like a great experience. I am so glad to hear you have decided on a career you would like to pursue Minicooper and wish you every success when you get to that stage. Pophammy recently went to Leeds university to tour the campus and do some languages in that dept including Chinese I think!

I just thought I'll let you all know I've just completed a day at Plumpton College doing Animal Care.

It was really good as I got to handle most of the animals including mice, guinea pigs, frogs, rabbits.......but no hamsters becuase they are building a new 1.5m complex and the hamster's had to be moved to temporary accommodation.

They do all types of courses including A levels and diplomas.

I asked about RSPCA Inspectors and they seemed to answer the questions ok but when I asked about Animal Technology they dont do any courses to do with it so if I decide to go to this college in a years time they wont do that.

Anyway, I had a good time

Somthing you could always add on later, if you can't find a college that does it all in one course though. Sounds like you had a great time..... when do you have to decide...?

oh that's okay then. plenty of time to look around for alternative courses and colleges to get the qualifications that you need. Good to start thinking about it though and start getting it planned. I left school, went to college and did a course that enabled me to get a job. Only in the last 5 years have I actually started further college and uni to get qualified and help me with the job that I now have and enjoy.
Good luck..
