Baby chickies!

Well to cut a long story short, 15 eggs went in incubator, we were down to four, one started hatching last night, by about 7:30 this morning it had hatched, two more chickies making their way off of the eggs too

Oh, they're maran chickens
This is only one btw lol, the others havn't hatched yet

Thats wonderful Jane. Quite a little miracle Do you live on a farm? What is a maron chicken like when it grows up?

Nope I don't live on a farm, but dad would LOVE a farm. We have 10 chickens, 5 ex-battery hens, 2 maran hens, 1 maran cockral, and 2 hens which were found wandering around next door but ones garden (both at seperate times)

Unforunately I don't have any decent photos of our adult marans at the moment, but am hoping to do a photoshoot tonight if the rain holds off for me
