Re: Who can't sleep?
It's this forum! I get on okay when I'm not on it. I can shut my laptop and go to bed. I have NO reason to be awake just now. Not even Sen's awake!! I have half a glass of wine to finish and I'm on facebook talking to a relative in America, and on here waiting for things to comment on Haha .... not like I've not been on here all day I need to get a life really.... :P

Re: Who can't sleep?
I haven't gone to bed yet, but when I do I'll put some Big Bang Theory or something equally naff on and pass out, I think. Exhausting few weeks culminating in an explosion of things to wear me out for days, heh. But uni have been fab, and I've got an 85 in a couple of units this year, so I think they are over the moon with me and I don't have to finish this years work (although I will, I'm off to stalk some Orangutans and write reports, what's more fun than that!).
So much on my little numb brain tonight, scared that I'll wake in the morning and come steaming in to sing at Chewy. Ahh well, despite my atheism, I am allowing myself to relish the comfort of a hamster after-life, and I can imagine him sniffing my from his sky-nest as I sing!
Best be off before I give myself another migraine haha! Listening to sciencey podcasts always helps me sleep, Shazza, perhaps you too can find something you are mega interested in and excited about, it's sod's law you'll doze off after ten minutes!
Thank you all for the chuckles tonight. x

Re: Who can't sleep?
I might watch some Brian Cox vids on youtube, that should send me to sleep from ultimate confusion
And it's nice to know I'm not the only addict on here I'm also watching my bids on ebay to stop any sneaky bidder's while I'm sleeping (not much time left on the items) lol
What are you studying at uni sammy? stalking orangutans sounds like a once in a life time opportunity xx

Hehe, this year, sadly, I'm just stalking them at Chester Zoo! It's cool I have an excuse to go watch them for hours though! I do Animal Behaviour. I love it .
Brian Cox angers me sometimes! He uses really convoluted analogies that ruin things for me (in my head, entropy is a nice neat set of equations, and I had my own mental images for it, which he then ruined with grains of sand in his last series... grrr).
But! I love him in the Infinite Monkey Cage series on radio 4. It's hysterical, and he's very self deprecating! You can sometimes find these in itunes podcasts .
And don't worry.. physics melts everyones brain. If it doesn't, you're not doing it right x

Re: Who can't sleep?
I'm a night owl. Which isn't good during the 'school year'. Staying up until 4, then waking up at 6, is nooooooot good when it comes to school & driver's ed. But it's my schedule, and it gets worse in the summer when I don't even sleep for a couple days at a time. I'm an internet addict, lol. My nights consist of it!

Re: Who can't sleep?
I'm a night owl as well when I can get away with it, but I can't tolerate lack of sleep for long anymore (I used to in college, but it led to pretty bad consequences).
Though for the purpose of this forum, it doesn't help that 80% of it goes to sleep when it's early evening here
