Neat find Jesse. They are very cute, but strange looking! they also appear to be so fragile, those bony legs are like little springs!

Very cool little creature! Looks like a cross of a hamster, rabbit and mouse Are there any breeders of these in England?

I don't think they are commonly kept as pets. If they are they are probably considered exotic. I know there are different species of Jerboa and that not much is known about them.

there are more in England than Scotland but they are slowly gaining in popularity and as more are kept in captivity and we learn more about how to successfully breed them they are becoming more common as pets. Definitely more of these and fat tailed jirds than mouse-like hamsters out there
