I'm watching "Skins" since last September (I download the episodes - noone watches it or knows it in Greece).
I don't even know if it's famous in England or it's just another TV drama.
I suppose it's very famous though, cause I love it!
So I was wondering if anyone knows when does the fifth season start?? Wikipedia says: 27 January!
Yes, I know there is an American version too.
Of course it's not appropriate for kids!
I hope it's played on television late at night so that kids don't watch it.
Parents should be very carefull with their kids watching tv in general...
But...I'm 27, so no kid - no kids (yet) !!
It comes on at 10pm.. When most teens are still awake and in their rooms I suppose.. I am 22. I think my mother would have hurt me if she knew I was watching something like that as a teen!
I havent watched skins since the 2nd series, tryed to watch the 3rd but didnt like all the new ppl and it didnt seem like the 'old' skins to me.
Unfortunataly i think Skins is aimed at older teenages - as when i was a teen i knew a few ppl who acted like they do in the programme and most teenages can relate to some if not most of the programme.

I believe that parents should constrict their kids in the matter of television.
They should let them watch particular things like children programs, documentaries, things that don't have violence etc.
Tv can be very dangerous for children's soul as we have seen in many cases especially in the U.S. I believe (kids taking guns in their hands...you know what happens next...).
