Me and my partner moved into our first place together in March. It came partly furnished which help as we also did have alot of money. I collect My little ponies from the 80's and i made £70 selling those which helped buy pots and pans.
We still havnt found any small coffee tables or tv unit we like so we are using boxes and a set of draws lol. It does the job. We are also spending xmas together this year too!!

We have the opposite, our house is a 3 bed terrace but the front room made into a bedroom so we have a surplus of 4 desks/beds/desk chairs and wardrobes. The wardrobes are ok..filled of course and the beds WERE fun when we had people over but now we need the space for ourselves which is hard because the landlord doesnt have a store. he was meant to come today to take 2 matresses and just cancelled cos he has a cold so that sets back my house re-arranging plans i had

we got a nice shelf unit from ebay..its the way..and freecycle..id keep checking that

ps.my room back home still has 5 packing boxes in from 10 years ago because i couldnt find the furniture i liked lol x

Nooooo!!! Vicky!! You sold your my little ponies?? We are clearing out the loft at the moment (I still live at home!) and when I cam accross my, My little Ponies I just couldnt bear to part with them! In fact I actually sat and played with them all brushing their hair, and putting ribbons in etc!! (Shhh!! Yes I'm 24!) I suppose though if you need things sacrifices have to be made . . .

Love the fairy ones nat they are gorgeous, but the squiggles are a bit more traditional I suppose.

I didnt sell them all, and the ones i did i sold at a profit so not too bad. I Kept my favorites. Im going to collectormania on sunday so hoping to get more there. I dont have much money but alex has been paid so hes going to treat me i love my guy

I cried a few months ago when i LISTED one of my disney snowglobes...i have more still but i needed a quick £20 and needs muct I lugged 3 bags of clothes back on train few weeks back to sell..waiting for free listing next, should be coming up soon...i have loads of things i know COULD sell but i cant bring myself too-im a hoarder lol and i have a huge box of barbies that i still dress in their original outfits, the disney ones, i think of them as collector items as the dolls they bring out now look nothing like the characters!

These things are great, we went to Comic Con and Membrobilia last year and I couldnt believe how much I enjoyed myself. The tywins from Harry potter where there last year.

its ok..i still have the cupcake kitchen, stable and some ponies lol they look super weird now! I ahve the bridal one and the princess fibre optic purple glitter one lol i liked the babies best though! x

The babies are cute, iv got a few of those too but they tend to cost more to buy now than the adults. I was watching a pony from Italy the other day. It sold for £907 !! Who has that sort of money for a pony???
