chinchilla sand... chinchilla dust... hamsters?

is chinchilla sand and dust the same or different?
is chinchilla sand/dust okay for hamsters? just saw big bag of chin. sand in the pet shop for £2 and would buy it if it's safe thanksx

Dust is way to dusty for the hamster, so dont buy dust only sand!

Could you post a picture of the packaging, as at my pets at home they have a 3L bag which is called dust but its acctually sand for £3.99...

i dont think its on the internet as its from a very small petshop round the corner - their very good though... its definitly not dust its sand i spent ages examining it lol x

oh thats good p@h cheaper than the one im using the charlie chinchilla i pay 4.50 a carton. so will deffo pay a visit to p@h could be pricey though by time u see other things lol.

lol yeah, at first i saw this *critters powder* or something i forgot its name :S but it came in a tiny tiny package i used it up for my robs in 2 days lol so was considering playsand but too much hasstle XD nowhere to put it!!
