Our beautiful little Winter White Harriet has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. She was nearly 2, which is a good age for a Winter White. We had hoped that she would make a lovely wife for our sapphire Bingley, however she had other ideas and wanted to stay single all her life! She did tolerate him for a few 'dates' in the 'Pink Lady Boudoir', but I think by then Bingley was a confirmed batchelor and they went their separate ways!
Harriet was always a bit of a character and quite a feisty little girl. She didn't really like being hugged and would happily sit and nibble your finger but she did enjoy running around the bed and exploring. She loved her wheel and also loved to sit in her critter bath.
She had her fair share of illnesses throughout her life, having had numerous eye problems and a lump removed from her toe. Unfortunately this came back and spread to her upper leg and side, and although she seemed happy enough at first as it became bigger we could see she wasn't enjoying life any more and we let her go.
She is much missed in the hamstery as she was always out and about running around and on her wheel, and would always rush to her bowl as soon as it was topped up.
R.I.P Harriet, I hope you find Kipton and Bingley at the bridge and play well. We love you, from all at Custard xxx
