Default Sleep tight Bertie-boo

Last week I had to say goodbye to my wonderful Bertie.
He was just over 2 and a half, had a swollen eye and was so tired and I knew it was his time to go. I took him to the vets about his swollen eye early last week, I was given eye drops for him and told that Friday he would need to return and I’d have to make a horrible decision.

Thursday night I tried to do his eye drops, but realised he was so exhausted and I decided to leave him be. I knew it was his time to go 😪 I stroked him whilst he slept and left him overnight to pass peacefully.

He was such a lovely boy, all the family loved him and it’s so horrible when any pet leaves us, whether they are large or small. I miss him so much and will never be able to replace him!

RIP Bertie xx

I am so sorry for your loss.
Bertie passed peacefully at home and with the people he loved around him. He was a lucky boy right to the end.
Play well at the bridge Bertie.
