I had to say goodbye to Moonbeam on friday. She had been on heart meds which helped for a couple of weeks, but then it just started to get bad again, so it was time to say goodbye.

Moonbeam was my first foster fail as I decided to adopt her. She was so tame but crazy from day one, the craziest female syrian hamster I have ever had. I know she is going to be missed by many, but by me the most.

I had just finished building her new cage, but I knew it would be too stressful to move her into it, so we used it as a play run on a night for a few minutes.

I got to have her in my life for 10.5 months and just loved my little cow ham.

I can see Moonbeam meerkating over the rainbow bridge to say good bye to the human who gave her such a wonderful life. Play well little Moonbeam.

Im so terribly sorry to read this. The bridge has certainly gaind some amazing furbubs this week.

I'll always the remember the funny DM exchange between us when you got her!

I think I lost my mind that night, everything I ever knew about hamsters just went out of my brain - lol

Ah moo ham, such a personality. She and Mania were as bad as each other. Hope you are doing ok Luna.
