R.I.P Snowflake

My hamster just got euthanised because of a spreading tumour, and I’m still recovering. My only wish is that I hope Snowflake can see how much I loved him.

I'm so sorry for your loss. You did everything you could but sadly it seems that is was an aggressive tumour that could not be treated. I'm sure he knew how loved he was and you gave him a great gift of rest when he needed it.

I'm so very sorry for your loss of Snowflake. You did absolutely everything that you could to treat his tumor, but sadly it was just too aggressive to cure. You gave him a wonderful life filled with so much love and care, and you helped him pass as peacefully and pain free as possible at at the end. I'm sure your beloved Snowflake realized and appreciated all the loving things. My heart goes out to you during this time. Hugs to you. RIP, darling Snowflake. May your health be restored and your adventures be many at the bridge.

Hey guys a quick update. Instead of getting a new hamster, My dad decided to get me a sugar glider. I'll be getting Luna a cagemate and a larger cage ASAP. Thanks for all the kind comments guys!

P.S. I'll be posting questions and glider tips on gliderCENTRAL, as well as pictures of Luna and a soon-to-be cagemate, Sunlight.

I am glad that your dad gave you a sugar glider. I hope that your new little fur family member will give you lots of comfort and happiness. Sugar gliders have a much longer lifespan ranging from 5 to 15 years. I hope that Luna and you have a long and wonderful time together. Best of wishes and take care. I hope that you will make a thread about your new little friend on the Other Pets section of HC; if so, I would love to hear all about her and see some pics, too.

Guys got an update, Starlight has become a new member to my pet fam! Starlight is my lil' Sassy Sugar Glider joey, and I 'rescued' him/her from a pet shop that was treating her unethically. They grab him/her by the tail (As you guys may know that's part of the SPINE!) and only fed him/her apples. Not that apples are bad, but you need to give them a variety of foods! btw guys I may get another hammy!
