Rupert our gentle little man.
Our beloved Rupert made his way over the bridge on 26th April after gradually slowing down over the past few weeks.
All hamsters are special but some hold an extra special place in your heart and Rupert was one of those. He was the gentlest and kindest of creatures who took great pleasure in the simple things life offers. He loved his food and he had a quirky walk with his tail in the air that always made us laugh. There was nothing wrong with his tail - he could hold it normally but he liked to hold it up. He was always waiting to greet you and meerkatting up to be taken out for his cuddles. He was the one you could safely allow the littlest of kiddies to hold. He gave us two wonderful litters of babies - one at Leedshams with Penny and one at Custard with Halloumi. We have his sons here Fergus, Walnut and Hadrian who have inherited many of his qualities for which we are thankful.
It was a joy and a privilege to share your life sweet boy and we hope you are enjoying life at the bridge with your family who went before - Until we meet again Play well at the bridge Rupert my love x

I'm so sorry souffle, he was a lovely boy & it was always clear he had a special place in your heart, I'm sure he will be very much missed but it's lovely that he still lives on in his sons & all the wonderful memories he has left you with.
Run free & play well at the bridge Rupert.

Yes it's lovely that he lives on in Fergus, Walnut and Hadrian. And I feel privileged that he was Newt's Dad too.

Re: Rupert our gentle little man.
Farewell to Rupert, such a special boy indeed. All his sons are so handsome whether cinnamon like him or a cream like Newtie. His character sounds especially endearing and his loss will be felt by you all. Play well at the bridge Rupert, look back and know that you were so cherished and will be deeply missed.

Re: Rupert our gentle little man.
I am so saddened to hear this sad news - I am so sorry to hear that Rupert has gone to the rainbow bridge. He was such a handsome hammy and he so fortunate to have an amazing life full of love with you. It lovely that Rupert will live on in his offspring - including his sons Hadrian, Fergus, Walnut and also Newt.
Play well at the bridge Rupert.

Re: Rupert our gentle little man.
I am terribly sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved, precious ham. It was so evident that he was one of your extra special heart-hams, and he will be greatly missed by all the hearts he touched during his wonderful, loving life with you. He was so handsome and his darling face always made me smile. It's lovely that his beautiful legacy will continue and thrive through the very special offspring he left behind. He will also live on in your heart and memories. Hugs to you, Souffle.
Have many grand adventures at the bridge, Rupert. You will forever be loved and missed.
