Miss you, Crumble.
Hey guys. I'm a new poster here and I lost my 2 and a half year old Syrian girl Crumble in May before I started posting. She was a wonderful gentle and friendly ham who loved a good cuddle! Although near the end she became a little bit grumpy the poor thing! I miss her with all my heart and will never forget her running to the door amd waiting patiently to be taking out to play every night. She lived in the Savic Bristol cage which she really loved, it was just right for her. We've just got a new ham but all of her old stuff is still here as I can't bring myself to get rid of it. Sleep tight Crumble. Miss you always.

Re: Miss you, Crumble.
So sorry for your loss Turrican, Crumble looks so sweet there & was clearly a wonderful little friend to you, it's always so sad when they go to the bridge but she had such a good long life she must have left you with many happy memories to cherish & will always live on in your heart.
I'm sure she will be happy that you have a new friend in Kenneth now.
Run free & play well at the bridge Crumble.

Re: Miss you, Crumble.
I'm so sorry about your loss of gorgeous Crumble. She did appear to have such a lovely bond with you though, and she had a happy, long life. I'm sure she would want you to be happy so I'm glad that you were able to provide Kenneth with his new home with you. Thankfully, Kenneth is able to heal your broken heart, and I hope that you will have lovely time together for many years. Hugs to you and RIP Crumble.

Re: Miss you, Crumble.
Thanks for the replies and kind words. She was so cool and calm and happy (mostly) to be petted and cuddled and was a great pet for us! It was so sad to see her getting older and struggling but she did pass peacefully in the end. If only hamsters had longer lives! Will get through this sad time with help from baby Kenneth

Re: Miss you, Crumble.
Aw thanks, BorisPasha, I'm sure she'll be loving the bridge, sniffing everything in sight and wandering around in the same chilled out fashion as when she was with us!

So sorry for your loss Turrican, Crumble sounds truly wonderful and so beautiful, the pic is so lovely, I smiled at her little crossed paws.
It's never easy when they leave us but Gladys she went peacefully.
It's good you have Kenneth, be sure to take comfort in him.

Re: Miss you, Crumble.
Thanks guys. She was my little angel. I'm loving Kenny of course but it feels strange having a hamster that I don't 'know' at all yet, as we were so used to Crumble and her unique personality and ways. If only we got more time with our little hammys!
