Too soon my love - Creamface McPatch

I never in a million years thought I would be making this post. She was too young, too beautiful and too special to be taken so soon. There was nothing at all visibly wrong with our beautiful girl. She was doing everything normally the evening before she left us but when I went in to check them the next day it was clear that she was dying. She could hardly walk and appeared to have had a severe stroke. I lifted her and held her close tucked in my jumper and comforted her as best I could. She was calm and I told her she was loved and she could fly free and she died in my arms a few minutes later.
It isn't fair but life is never fair and you never know how much time you or they have. I feel guilty, angry and so, so sad as she had such a short life. I don't think we could have done anything because we didn't know there was anything wrong but we still keep wondering.
She must have had some weakness somewhere which took her from us even though she was bred and raised here with the greatest of care and attention to ensure the pups were healthy. It's nobodies fault.
We know she was much loved and knew nothing but care with us but we miss her so much. That cheeky little unique face and her sparkling personality. She was just the most special of little ones from the moment we saw her. We had so much fun watching her and holding her and seeing her experience all they new things that happen to a baby hamster. She was just the best and a true heartham to Pophammy especially.
I was a privilage to share your all too short life my sweet and we are sorry it wasn't longer. It should have been but it looks like heaven needed a little golden tortie girlie with a gorgeous cream face to sparkle up there.

That's heartbreaking! Taken so suddenly from you, guess you never do know how much time we have left with our little ones? Sorry for your loss! She looks adorable in those pictures. I'm sure you'll hold on to all the good memories! Hugs!

Oh souffle I'm so very sorry, I know how special she was too you, it must have been a terrible shock for you.
Such a short life but one so full of love, you couldn't have given her more.

Wow. What a shame, she is absolutely beautiful. I am so sorry to hear this terrible news.

Life is most definitely unfair, but as you say, someone up in the sky has been missing a few special hamsters like Creamface Mcpatch.

At least you were there for her final moments and your comforting care was her last involvement here.

I'm so, so sorry for your loss, Souffle. She clearly held such a huge part of yours and Pophammy's hearts and I'm sure she stole all of ours too, she did with mine.

I'm glad I got to meet her in person, what a very sad loss, and such a shock

She had such a wonderful, happy life and was raised by a lovely mother. In hamster and human form.

Play well at the bridge, beautiful Creamface McPatch, you will be dearly missed and always loved.

Oh soufflé! I am so incredibly sad for you. She's been a favourite of mine since you introduced her and every time I saw her kept thinking how lucky you were to have her with that gorgeous unique face. I'm so very sorry she was taken from you so soon but whatever it was I'm glad it was quick for her.

I have tears in my eyes reading your tribute. You couldn't have done any more for her, please don't feel guilty, she had the most wonderful life with you and was loved every minute of it.

This is shocking and also a bit scary as I had 3 pups close to her age do the very same thing, Lively, active, being completely normal for healthy young hamsters who just went to bed in their nest and didn't awake the next morning.

Hugs to you and all the Custard Hamsters human family. The bridge just increased it's unique and special hamster population. I'm sure Creamface McPatch is enjoying herself at rainbow bridge.
