After many trips to the vets and numerous treatments, I had to let Metallica go to sleep last night. She's my first to be put down, as they normally pass away in their sleep at home - so was extra upsetting.
I'll never forget her, she was the runt in my first litter so I kept her as she was being picked on. She grew to be a beautiful silver grey tort and had a litter of 7 herself, she even became a grandmother and lived to 2 years.
I will never forget Metallica daughter of Zeppelin.

So sorry to hear of your loss. You gave her the last great gift of freedom from her pain.

Thanks - she's the first I've had to 'let go' of, they usually decide themselves when it's their time.
I hope I've done the best for her.
