Wigglesworth

I am deeply saddened to have to make this post as Wigglesworth was only with us for four and a half short weeks. During that time she captured our hearts and was destined to stay here with us but sadly that was not to be. Last weekend she was absolutly fine, beautiful beyond belief, active and totally charming. Four hours later we found her dead in the nest with her sisters. She showed no signs of illness or gave any clue that anything was wrong. Her time had come though and we know she slept away warm and gently surrounded by her sisters. It was a cot death in a baby hamster really.
We have never experienced this before and the effect on Pophammy has been devastating. Thank you Wiggly for the joyous times you shared with us and the smiles you put on our faces. Perhaps you missed little Edward and thought he needed you there to look after him. Play well Wiggly and know that your short life was so worthwhile because it touched our hearts.

Oh my goodness, this is really sad. She was absolutely stunning (I always looked out for her photos as she was my favourite of your bunch) and I'm so sorry that you lost her like this.
