Unfortunately this little guy passed away yesterday morning. I hadn't given him a proper name yet, and as he was called Tinkerbell before, I'll remember him as Tinker.
I had the feeling he was pretty old, and on Friday night he was extremely wobbly and looked like he was having seizures. This was at 11pm, I checked on him as he didn't come out which was unusual for him as he would always be waiting for me at the bars at night.
I thought his time for the bridge was calling so I wrapped him up in a hand towel to warm him up and gave him some water via a syringe. I took him in my room for a few hours to try and comfort him, then eventually I had to hope for the best and put him back in his cage.
He was still alive in the morning, so I did the same, but I couldn't get him to take any food or water, I knew his time to go over the bridge was coming.
He was such a sweet little hamster, I wish I was able to have him here for longer, but for the two weeks he did live here here seemed to enjoy himself.
