Doris has left the building
Miss Doris Roborovski led a short, though somewhat scandalous life. Daughter to an incestuous union, she was quickly separated from her father (although not quick enough, as there was another batch of siblings to follow). Fleeing from a broken home, she left with her marginally more confident sister, Maude.
They lived the carefree life of spinsters (lots of spinning) in a trendy des-res for several months, though their self-sufficient lifestyle incited some gossip that they shared a bed - sometimes even the wheel! So independently minded were they, the only help they would accept from a man was the weekly cleaning of their home - and the occasional hand out of a particularly deep cardboard box.
Turmoil soon came though, as their dream life turned sour and the sisters fell out; Maude was sent packing. Doris stayed in their original translucent, pleasure dome of a structure, whiling away the solitary evenings on her wheel, only a foot away from her estranged sister. Slowly, as time healed the emotional wounds and bad words were forgotten, there was talk of a fresh start and a reconciliation.
Sadly, a particularly bitter October night came and fate laid its hand upon the sisters. Doris has moved further than Maude can yet travel, but perhaps the reconciliation can happen; in the warmer, sunnier place all Roborovskis return to.
Bye Doris
