My darling little Chinese dwarf Bo passed today aged approx 3 years and 7 months. I lost his brother, Gan, in December. They lived together for about the first 2.5 years and then had to be separated. They were 2 years old when I got them
Bo was a always a shy little thing and generally darted away from me. Towards the end he would only even take his treats from a log in his cage and wasn't happy coming to my hand.
I think Bo was my best burrower.
The tunnels and hideouts he created in his substrate and bedding were quite exceptional. He didn't seem to use most of his toys but they did get incorporated into his underground home.
He was a devil to find in amongst all his bedding but was the noisiest drinker I've every come across so I always knew instantly when he was out and I could go and watch him.
Bo, you are gorgeous and have given me so much pleasure. Be nice to Gan when you see him at the bridge!
