I'm really sorry that you lost Winnie. Please don't blame yourself - I'm sure that Winnie knows you did everything you could for her throughout her life and was grateful.

As others have said, please don't blame yourself. You left Winnie in the care of somebody you trusted, there's nothing more you could have done. Nothing can ease the heartbreak of losing one of our little ones, but there's no need for you to feel any guilt on top of that.
