Unhappy Rip poppet

just thought id let everyone know that poppet my rescue hamster had to be pts end of last week, she has suspected pyometra begging of this year and she had treatement for it and up until last week she was happy and healthy but last week she went down hill, and stopped eating and started to breath oddly, she was put on antibiotics but i made the decision that she was suffering too much.
i will never forget the day i picked her up over a year and a half ago! she was in a tiny cage and was monkey climbing the bars, pushing the outside of a tiny will and severly overweight, the day i put her in her new cage she ran up and down all the levels and was very amusing to watch.
RIP POPPET!!!- i hope your time with me made up for more than a year in that tiny hideous cage!

ps tried to upload a picture but it wont let me
