I didn't think I would be writing this anytime soon...but yesterday my sweet Piglet had passed away...
Piglet was born September 19,2012. She was one of the 11 pups in Bear&Cookies litter. As soon as she and her litter mates reached 2 weeks old I would always see them coming out of the hut and tumbling around in their tank.. But there was one pup, a small sable banded. Much smaller then the others. Every day I would watch this little pup, but she didn't seem to grow, she was the last one to open her eyes. So when it was time to separate her from her brothers and sisters, I put little piglet in her own cage. It wasn't hard picking a name for her :3 it suited her so well!
I didn't plan on keeping her, but the idea did cross my mind. I just thought that I might have to keep her a bit longer then she would be off to her new home. But I couldn't let her go, she was too special to me. She looked exactly like her father Cookie, and had the same kind and playful personalty. When cookie died March, Piglet was the only thing I had left from him, so my bond with Piglet became even stronger.
I would take her out every day and take pictures of her
Most pictures came out looking so funny xD
But on October 29,2012 Piglet had left me... She was very healthy , and was so young... I still don't know why she died. On that same day my bird Milo died. I came home from school to see them lying cold and motionless...
Milo, I hope you had a fun filled life with being free to fly and not cramped in a cage at the pet store.. Fly again little one
and piglet..You were so special to me, and not just because you resembled your father so much. But because I really considered you as a friend, and family. Not just a pet.you would help me through the tough times, or when I am sad.
I am really sad to see you go.. I hope you get to see cookie again <3
