Last night my little man passed away. i had to take him to the vets and there the vet (who was so lovely and caring) told me she thinks its his time.
He had gone down hill over the last few days struggling to walk and not wanting to eat. I could not see him suffer.
I was, still am heartbroken but forever i will have our memories.

Sending hugs from Kent.....it must be real hard, I felt lost when I lost Venetia and she was 2/12 years old and I was away on holiday when she passed

Sigh. It's never easy to lose a hammy. It's also so hard to make the decision to let them go. But I truly believe that helping them go is a true mark of loving them. I am so sorry you've lost this little love.
