Unhappy Reeses and Pops

Sadly two out of my previously seven little fluffs passed away this week. Its been really hard as each one was so unexpected. Sadly, as each hamster was so shy, I never got any pictures of them, but below is a description of each.

Reeses was a feisty little hybrid girl who looked exactly like a russian dwarf. She passed away very suddenly early Tuesday morning from a stroke she had the night before. I wasnt able to hold or stroke her until her last moments because she was so aggressive, but I treasured those last few minutes. She had the best of everything, with a huge tank, sleeping house, and all the treats and chews a hammy could want. Oh yeah, and she loved her wheel so much. It was like she never slept. I hope you are enjoying that giant wheel in the sky, Reeses, my little character.

Pops was a classic little agouti robo, and a wee little old man. He wasn't one for any cuddles, but he never bit me even though I terrified him. Poor buddy, you were so I'll. I tried to give you water but you gave your last breath in the palm of my hand on Thursday. I was so depressed I tried to do hammy cpr but after half an hour, even though your heart was.still thumping, you were not going to start breathing again, so I let you lie still in my palm.

I will miss both of you so, so much, more than I could have ever thought. Play well with snickers, snickers, (yes there were two) hersheys, and oreo up at the bridge where one day I will see you all again, until then, lots of sunflower seeds to you little fluffs. :')
