Default Beautiful Bella gone to the bridge....

....heart is just broken right now.

Basically she visited the vet yesterday who said she was old and it was old age and it comes on quick. It upset me as she isn't really old, and I'm not keen n that vet and he got it went once before with her.
Today I popped home from work at lunch to see her, and I just felt something was wrong. S I booked an appointment for a second opinion. Tonight went along and the lovely lady vet said she wasn't old, that her spine wasn't curving as e vet said and really talked about her diet.
I felt a bit better cos tbh I discount what the first vet said as I don't trust his judgement.
Tonight my daughter went in and found Bella past away. I can't believe it's happened, I am absolutely devastated.

Thank you Annie.
My heart is absolutely breaking. It's 6a.m here in England and I've been sat downstairs on my own crying for the last hour.
Yes she was VERY loved and we had such a fantastic relationship with her and I think this is why it is hurting so much. I've been upset when we have lost pets in the past but not like this, this hurts so bad.

Hi Lorrained - my heart goes out to you on the loss of your precious little one. Only we hammy lovers understand how much we end up loving our little fluffs. Let the tears flow - when the eye has no tears the soul has no rainbow. You will feel your little one's love around you - look out for a little white feather or a petal which is from her to you. You will find comfort in time that you gave her everything she deserved. Run free little girl xxx

Thank you so much angelbabies, I've been and bought a plant this morning. I don't want her just buried in the garden, I want something that I can look at and instantly think of her. I bought a plant and a deep tub, and I bought - corny it may sound - those spikes that you stick in pots with a flower or something on, well I as looking for a rainbow or something and considered a rose but then saw this cheeky looking little mouse-ish creature hat looked so happy and so cheeky, so we are going to plant her and stand this in the pot.
As I drove away from b & q I was talking to her and saying "is is for you Bella, not going to cry anymore, but my mum was there when I got home so the tears flowed once again, and no doubt will do after when we bury her and put the plant in the garden. Xx

I'm sorry to hear about Bella. She was obviously very much loved. I'm sure you'll be able to remember her and smile again soon.

PS You almost made me cry! And I don't cry!

Neither do I soapy, people say I'm really hard. My friend cries when the coca cola advert comes on the telly!!! But I'm really hard, until it comes to my children and little furries (or even big furries, just furries in general, but especially my little ones).

Bella has now been buried, she has a lovey pieris (??) plant over her which is colourful all year around, and she has the little mouse watching. So now I'll be able to look at that plant and think of her.

So sorry for your sad loss Lorrained. Sometimes we try so hard to find out what`s wrong with them but when they pass on, they pass on knowing that they are in a familiar place where they are loved. Bella found a home that cherished her and that means a great deal. Grieving is something we all do and I`ve bubbled up many times in the past due to losing my little ones. x
