I'm very sorry for your sudden loss... I hope your heart can find peace in the thoughts of her finally knowing how it is to be spoiled... That, for a hammie, is priceless... May your heart heal up soon...

Run free, little princess... Enjoy the Bridge and all its goodies !

Annie xx

I am so sorry that Darcy has passed away. It's never easy to have a hammy pass away at any age, but especially hurtful when they are so young. I started having gerbils when I was 8 years old and I've had them and hamsters all my life. Even now, at 59 years old, it is very painful to lose one of my furries. The crying only stops with time because, even with a little creature like a hammie, you've suffered a real loss. Only time will help. My sister gets crazy with my hammies. She feels that because they live such short lives she couldn't handle the loss all the time. I believe each gerbil and hammie that shared my life brought something special and wonderful to my life. I wouldn't have missed having any of them in my world. Darcy brought you a relationship that included love and respect for a little life. The tears will stop, but the memories won't. Remember the happy ham who got a new big home, good food and lots of love. Run free at the Bridge Darcy

Some are called back to the bridge early and it's so difficult to understand. Play well little Darcy, your little life was filled with love xx
