Tonight I sadly found my Syrian hamster marmalade had passed. She seemed absolouetly fine last night but when looked at her closely she looked like she had a tumour. I called marmalade my Hc hamster as I bought her the day I joined here 31/5/12, she definately had a personality! She was fiesty to say the least and used to try and nip me every time I got her out the cage. She also used to enjoy escaping from her cage at every opportunity and using taking what ever treats she had found back with her. My favourite thing about her was her chewing, she was nicknamed the chewing machine, she loved to destroy wood and went through quite a few wood chews and even the wooden bottle holder got pretty destroyed in the end. Marmalade i really will miss you, have a special place in my heart for you, play well xxxxxxx. ( Photobucket doesn't seem to be working so a pic to follow)

I'm so sorry to hear that Marmalade has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. It's always so difficult to lose our furry babies. I know you'll miss her terribly. Hammy hugs from Patches and Ted E Bear along with my sympathy. Run and play at the Bridge Marmalade.
