Default Hamlet, at the bridge 2/13

Hamlet died underground this week. He was my first Hamster, surrendered at the shelter I work at. I didn't dig him out sooner, even though in my heart I knew he was gone, because the desire to keep his earthly body close to me was very strong. I put him in a tiny casket, covered him with soft tissue blanket, with his last partially eaten milk bone by his side.

Because of you I am so much richer and I have a new appreciation for small animals. So long little bit. I love you.

Oh, so sorry for your loss of Hamlet. It's so difficult to lose our furry friends. But you rescued him and gave him a better life. That counts for much. I know he'll be sorely missed.

I am so very sorry for your loss.
I know exactly how you feel. I took all my strength not to dig my hamster up called Hamlet.
I know times are tough but you'll get through
