Re: Skip - The happiest ham we could wish to know
Ah Skip, your mum knows exactly how fond myself and all the pompoms were of you, you made Whizzbit feel he was making quite the fashion statement with his bald bum to match yours
Little man, your pure joy at being a Mischief ham made me smile every time I saw you. You were the Patriarch of the HC robos, and an inspiration to all hamsters, and also us humans to make the most of every single thing you have and face the world with positivity.
I will miss you little one, we all will. I see you all furry again, running with my boys and all the other HC hams at the bridge now. Play well beautiful Skip, your legacy is your infectious happiness, and there's not much better a gift than that to leave behind xxx

I usually avoid this section of the forum as it just upsets me, but I feel like I have to say goodbye to Skip. RIP, little fuzzbum.

Re: Skip - The happiest ham we could wish to know
Oh my gosh, I cant believe I didn't see this sooner Skip you were such a delightful boy I loved how scraggly you always looked and I truly loved seeing your photos and hearing your stories. Its because of you that I feel so confident in Truffle having a perfectly happy life now she too has become blind, I don't think your mummy could ever speak of you without mentioning how wonderful and happy you were.
I will miss you stories and your spirited nature Skip, you were a beautiful robo no matter how much fur you lost. I hope you find Pippy at the Bridge and the two of you will be united with each other as well as your fur, I always love that it was the fur loss you had in common that made me and your mummy think you two would make the perfect (albeit very strange) couple.
Good night Skip, a true mini hero. xxx

Re: Skip - The happiest ham we could wish to know
Thanks everyone, and Erin, the reason I couldn't speak about Skip without mentioning how happy he was is that to him "happy" seemed to be something he was as much as "hamster". I've been hoping he's found Pippy too, they made a fantastic (if unusual) couple

Re: Skip - The happiest ham we could wish to know
Oh my. I am properly trying to hide the fact that I am crying from my housemate. I'm so sorry to read Skip's memorial, as beautiful as it is. He was one of my favourite robos ever, such a little indestructible, jolly trooper. I loved hearing about him slowly coming out of his shell. You really made me smile with your writing though, and I love that video of him. I hope he is doing some epic scamping about with the other HC robos. Hugs to you. x
