How lucky he was to find you to live his retirement in such a loving caring home. I bet he couldn't believe his luck!
As he was fine the day before it sounds like he just passed peacefully or old age, making his journey to the bridge where he will happily live with all our dearly missed little ones till the time is right for you to meet again xx
