RIP Sweet 28/7/06-24/12/07

Back on here for the wrong reason yet again...... Sweet died on Christmas eve

She was up and about the night before, in her ball and running around like mad as she always does. I went to clean her cage so it was all fresh and ready for her presents on Christmas day and she didnt come out of her bed. She would always hear the lid coming off and come right out but i waited a few minutes and when she didnt come out i knew something was wrong.
Looks like she had suffocated (?), she had her mouth stuffed with bedding and her mouth was open slightly..
It was a joy to have her in my life, she provided me with so much fun and would always give me a laugh with her antics!!

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss Jayne. Sweet was such a little character and you were privilaged to share her life. I know she is now playing happily now reunited with her Sour.

Do not fret over how you found her Jayne. I doubt she suffocated but I think that she went so quickly probably from a little heart attack and was busy doing what she loved best making her nest up. She suffered no pain and her path was gentle.

Very sorry to hear of your loss. She obviously had a great life with you as she looks so happy and beautiful in pic.

RIP little Sweet

I'm sure she knew how loved she was, she looks so happy and well cared for in those pictures.

i am so sorry, she was gorgeous. i agree it sounds as though she was making her nest and probably knew nothing about it. i hope you feel better soon. sleep tight Sweet x

Thanks for all your kind words. I know she had a good life and she was very much loved by me and my partner.
I've been taking my mind off it and i'm thiking about getting another, possibly a syrian or maybe a pair of robos. I'll be looking into it after new year though.
