Default RIP Toe :'(

I hoped I wouldn't have to post a message like this for a long time...that isn't the case though :'(

Last night at 10pmish I went to get Toe out of his cage and he was in his house which is normal because he was a lazy thing anyway. I lifted up the house and he didn't wake up, still normal I thought but was starting to get worried. I stroked him and he still didn't wake up and that's when I realised

I adopted him (along with Tic and Tac) at the beginning of June - was the 2nd I think. A month or so ago I had to seperate him from Tic and Tac because he was constantly harrassing them Since then he became a lot friendlier with the one on one handling, instead of one on three :P and I could actually pick him up out of the cage now without him wanting to eat me

He broke his tooth a few months ago too, didn't seem to be eating but he pulled through that so he obviously was and he became his normal happy self again.

Because I found him in his house, I can only assume that he went in his sleep. I really hope he did.

Sorry if I let you down Toe, I hope the fiveish months you had with me were good :'( If you were ill I'm sorry I didn't realise. I hope you went pain free in your sleep and knew nothing about it

RIP Toe. I love you :'(

Oh, and I've never shown this photo because I look really weird in it, but hey, who cares.

Ah Jane I'm so sorry for you. The other day I spent ages looking at the photos you posted of him, he was a special little man. I'm sure you would have know if he was ill, it was just his time.
RIP Toe

I am so, so sorry Jane to hear of your said loss. There is no need to say sorry to Toe though from you Jane for you gave him so much love and a happy life when no-one else wanted him. He was treasured and you will always carry him with you in your heart. We all travel through life at different speeds and Toe just went a little quicker. He was at peace and obviously in no pain. No doubt he will be playing happily at the bridge now. You have so many pictures and I hope they will help you when you look and see how beautiful and happy he was.
RIP Toe

Aww Jane, he's a lucky man to have found you and the time you spent together was magical. He gained confidence and came to trust you and you can see the love in your photo of you both together. huge hugs to you - rip little one. :-(

Oh Jane, I am so sorry to hear your sad news. It must have just been his time to go as you looked after him so well, you would have noticed if he was poorly beforehand.
In the time you had him with you, you spoiled him and treated him like the little Prince he was, so dont feel bad. I'm sure he wouldn't want you to.
Sleep well little Toe x

Jane, I am so sorry to hear that

It's obvious how much you love all your animals and you gave Toe the best possible life you could while he was with you.

I'm really sorry to hear about little Toe, Jane

As souffle says you have nothing to be sorry for - I'm 100% sure that he knew how much you loved him and that he was so happy he and the others found you and that he had a happy few months with you.

RIP Toe.
