Poor Alfie

I'd just like to say that my friends first hamster passed away this week. He was almost 2 years old. Alfie was a very cuddly and calm hamster, some may say a couch potato but I just think he was comfy

She was crying for ages and it was so sweet because a while ago someone asked her what she would do if he died and she defiently argued "Alfie isn't going to die!" It was the wierdest thing though apparently she couldn't put him down all day. He would make a screeching noise if she tried to put him back in his cage or anywhere and he just slept in her hand all day until the evening when he passed. Thanks for all your well wishes I showed her them I'm trying to get her to join the site

I'm sorry to hear of her loss. I'm sure he was glad she was able to be near and give him comfort. Rest well, little one. x
