He is in a better place now nat, its just his shell that will be in the freezer. Pumpkin will know that his mummy wants to do somthing special for him when she is feeling more settled.

RIP Pumpkin, have fun at the bridge. Hope you're ok and that last night helped take your mind off things a little. Let me know if you need anything. Big hugs, Em x

Conker spent several days in the freezer and I have a friend who lost her hamster and she's not up to dealing with the body at the moment and he's been in the freezer for months. Pumpers will be fine don't worry.

i feel so bad i still havnt done anything for him..i looked around for a big enough plant pot to put him in but im unsure of the practicalities of it...i feel so miserable...i realised i had put his cage to clean on the calendar and i keep going to put food in his cage..i think ill try clean it out this week and put it away..ii miss his energy, the house seems so subdued without him now x

Sorry I have only just seen your post Amethyst and I am so very sorry for your loss of Pumpkin Its never easy when we lose them but when they have that much energy the home is even more quiet so you miss them more The plant pot is a great idea and the perfect way to bury him and to remember him by. You are still in shock and going through so much right now that no wonder you feel miserable I know it will be hard but by cleaning his cage and putting it away for now it will give you a chance to say goodbye to him and might help a little. ((((((((((( HUGE HUGS ))))))))))) to you and I hope you start to feel a bit better soon. Rest in peace sweet little Pumpkin xxx
