Unhappy RIP Cookie my angel

as most of you know mimi and mango had a lovely litter of babies And Cookie one of the babies went to my sis' friend
She's had 5 hamsters who've passed away within half a year but it had been a long time since then so i thought i'd let her have one of my babies...
she is only like 12 weeks (near enough)
I think she (my sis' friend) is jinxed...

I'm gonna miss her like mad though, although i havent seen her recently i gave Cookie (aka triangle) to her so i could see how she was getting on.
its not like shes a bad owner, she's alright with them as far as i know :P Maybe she's just one of those unlucky ones :L
RIP lil Cookie xxxxxxxxx

Poor cookie..maybe she just wanted to go and play at the bridge while she was still young and full of energy

I hope your sisters friend is ok, and I know it must be tough for you, having raised her,
rip little one
my thoughts are with you

I am sorry to hear this. Poor little Cookie. I hope she has a fun time at the bridge.
I would suggest that Cookie's owner should get rid of everything she has for hamsters including cages / toys / bedding and start over if she ever considers another hammie. There is just a chance there is some virus or bug, some of which can lay dormant for long periods which is infecting the new hamsters.

RIP Cookie

My best friend as a kid was a "hamster killer" too - she did nothing wrong, they just didn't last long. Eventually she got rid of all the caging, and after a year's break had a hamster that someone had bought for her sister as a birthday present, which then lived a decent length life. Souf's advice about throwing away all the hamster equipment is probably a good thing to suggest to her.
