I can't thank everyone enough, if it wasn't for peggy I would have never joined this forum and met such wonderful people.
I've been crying all night trying to come to terms with it all, but it's still a shock.
My parents are on holiday and by sister has to go to work today so I'm home alone and I can't bury her body until this evening. But I placed her in a box and put it on the shelf where my first hamster badger used to live.
Although I like the idea of a plant pot with flowers, I don't want to hold on to her body, I'd prefer it to lay to rest along with dots and all the other pets we've lost to eventually become part of nature again.

Along with crying I also prayed a lot last night, I had so much to say and it was good to let it out. I started smiling remembering all those funny things she did, I said thankyou and sorry all a the same time.
Gosh peggy you little furry ball, you've turned your mummy into a blubbering idiot.

awww Mel im so sorry to hear about Little Peggy!

You wrote some lovely words there and we all know what an amazing and happy life you gave her.

Wow, now I know why i shouldnt log onto HC at work - sat hear trying very hard to hold back the tears.

RIP little Peggy - what a wonderful little hammy you were, and your life was so so happy with your wonderful mum Fluffy M.

Oh God, am sitting here about to go into work crying. I missed this yesterday. Am so so so sorry. Peggy was the most gorgeous little Robo I have ever seen. She had a wonderful life with you. Sweet dreams beautiful angel xxx

Oh, Mel, I am so sorry. Peggy was a beautiful little girl, who always bought a smile to my face reading about her antics and seeing her photos. You gave her the best life that she could have ever wished for, filled with love, adventure and fun.

Mel, I hope that you understand what I mean, but I am glad that she went peacefully in her sleep in her own familar cage, surrounded by those that loved her. It is one of the nicest ways to go I awlays think.

Play well at the bridge Peggy, find Dot, and all our other lost hams, have fun in the big wheel in the sky, you will be very much missed little lady. x x x

I am so very sorry Fluffymunchkins.
Peggy was indeed a legend and she will never leave you for she is part of you now forever. She has touched many of us and her character and unique beauty will last forever in your memory.
Play well at the bridge Peggy and watch over you mummy and now and again whisper in her ear that you are there and waiting.xxx

i am really sorry to hear that. but i am sure she died happy. you gave her a loving home and she knew that. she is no reunited with dot and they are happily playing at the rainbow bridge

Thankyou, i cry at everyones words, i'm really grateful that i wasn't the only person to enjoy my beautiful girl during her life.
